Composition! An integral part of the tattoo style
Certainly many of you choosing a tattoo that will be executed in a certain style genre are guided by sympathy toward one or another thought idea or circumstance. How, so that there would not be, there is one constant magnitude – Composition – whether it is at all applicable toward a tattoo, today’s publication will be about that.

It is a kind of abstract concept – let us specify: composition is not the actual object of art, but rather the place where you insert it. The skin also is a canvas, that which on it is placed also is composition, at least its thought‑of part.
The process of developing a tattoo is one of the most exciting parts when obtaining a new body art piece. From the choice of the subject to the choice of the precise style there are many considerations that must be taken into account when creating a custom tattoo, and one of the biggest considerations is composition.
At the beginning it is necessary to separate the planned composition in which the work as a whole is initially being composed, the depicted elements in it work together, forming a harmonious whole ——>
From the informal composition where the depicted elements are placed gradually and over time with new fragments appearing they form a whole, which in turn with good understanding of art style and the master’s understanding of composition forms a message that reaches the viewer’s appreciation already after years.

Okay! In the name of truth it must be mentioned also the composition created by life circumstances and events (acts). Here it is even more about message signs that form the overall composition (message), which allows similarly to a book to read the meaning of the tattoo on the wearer’s skin.
It is foolish to seek and apply traditional art techniques in tattooing. Traditionally, the goal of classical artists was a triangular or pyramidal composition to create a sense of geometry in the piece. The ancient Greeks believed that art should be as perfect as possible, and therefore they divided the canvas into eight equal segments to create a balanced, triangular composition. With a tattoo on the skin these techniques will not really work, because it is not a single‑plane canvas; every body curvature, even the skin tone, will determine its own rules of composition. Of course, there are some principles that can help guide the artist, such as the rule of thirds, the golden ratio and understanding what our eyes choose to focus on. The rest depends on the artist's visual intuition.
Understanding of composition is an important point also for a good tattoo artist, and the significance of these skills is often forgotten. Surely many of you have seen well‑executed tattoos that do not speak to you, even rather seem incorrect.
A.n.s.w.e.r. Bad composition! It can affect the entire tattoo as a whole regardless of perfect detailing, before the master inserts ink under your skin, make sure of the composition’s presence, or the possibility to supplement it.
U n d e n i a b l y y e a r s of experience and talent do t h e i r o w n, there will be tattoo artists whose works speak in their place, a n d e v e n r e a d i n g a f e w tens of books about composition you will not be able to draw better. Talent is only a priority over other specialists in the field; here everything is determined by artistic sense and the ability to perceive space as a whole in which the element is placed.

When studying classical art you are countless times forced to use an eraser and move objects on the sheet so that they look in accordance with the requirements of classical composition. When tattooing You will not have such possibilities. You must countless times dismantle the already existing drawing on the sheet before You assemble the true composition, in order to transfer it onto the most precious canvas in the world. Human skin :)
Be responsible, create ink art that remains after you, and remember! Composition is simply the place where the various parts of your ink and colors actually land on the skin in order to form a whole.
