Hello everyone :) , to those who have been reading us for 24 months and of course also to those who have just joined the Game Tattoo Art community and started following our publications :) Of course, this is no coincidence, and the actual birthday of our website is 24.01.2024 -we simply like symbolic numbers and games such as : 24 : The Game , a 2006 third‑person shooter developed by SCEE Cambridge Studio. Also this article is an A.n.n.i.v.e.r.s.a.r.y. and will be a special dedication to all video game enthusiasts. OK ! — follow us, we’re starting !
The term “gamer” originally referred to a gambler and has been in use at least since 1422, when the town laws of Walsall in England mentioned the entry: “any dice‑player, card‑player, or other unlawful gamester.”
Today, things have changed a bit — “gamer” now more commonly refers to a person who plays interactive games, whether video games, tabletop role‑playing games, skill‑based card games, or any combination of these, and does so regularly and over a long period of time. There is no division by gender, age, or affiliation. Escapism is the main factor behind why people enjoy playing games. This is the idea of having the chance to step into another world while playing games. This belief has become very widespread among players. Video games create a new world in which these players feel they belong and can control what is happening. Playing is certainly a way of achieving escapism.
A study conducted in the United States shows that 48% of game purchases are made by female consumers, yet in 2015 only 6% of women in the U.S. identified themselves as gamers. In turn, the term “girl gamer” tends to provoke various reactions, and its use is considered a reclaimed term. Let’s set aside all contradictions and stick to the neutral, gender‑indefinite term GAMER. Our creative team also includes women who unanimously define themselves with the phrase I – Am – Gamer.

He is best known for the Metal Gear franchise, which remains his most famous and acclaimed work. Hideo Kojima states that “if the player is not deceived into believing that the world is real, then there is no point in making a game.” We can hardly disagree with this especially when playing his own creation "Death Stranding" :)
Meanwhile, another Japanese video game designer and producer, who has spent his entire career working at Nintendo where he now holds one of the director positions has contributed to such projects and game series as Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and Donkey Kong. He himself says: “I think that, first of all, a game needs to provide a sense of achievement.
